Your selected registration time is your designated arrival window and helps us manage visitor flow. The maximum capacity for the 10:00 a.m entry time is 1,000 attendees and the maximum capacity for the 12:00 p.m. entry time is 1,400 attendees. Once an entry time reaches capacity, registration for that time will close.? Parking InformationParking at the event site is limited, as the event takes place in a public park. Parking spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be guaranteed.To help make your visit easier, we encourage attendees to carpool, use public transit, walk, or cycle where possible.Please allow extra time to find parking and follow all posted parking signs and directions from event staff.? Featured educational stations include:• Salmon life cycle and migration• Salmon species teachings• Learn about The Meadoway project• Meet the TRCA Aquatic Monitoring team• Indigenous engagement and storytelling• Fishing demonstrations• Arts and crafts• Kids' games and activities• And more!? While salmon may be present in the creek during the event, their presence cannot be guaranteed. Salmon migration is a natural process that depends on factors such as water levels, weather and timing. If salmon are not present on the day of the event, there are still many opportunities to learn about their journey and the important role they play in our waterways.??Explore a Stretch of Highland CreekExperience the salmon migration firsthand as you explore a scenic section of Highland Creek.Visitors are welcome to enjoy a self-guided walk along the well-signed interpretive trail, where educational signage highlights the incredible journey of salmon, their life cycle, the local watershed, and the important conservation efforts that help protect this ecosystem.OPTIONAL guided walks to hopefully view salmon in the creek will be offered approximately every 30 minutes throughout the event, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Guided walks are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to guide availability and river conditions.A Safe Space for Breaks – visit the Nest!This space offers a reprieve whether you need a pause or place to rest during the event, you are welcome to hang out at the Nest.The event will run rain or shine, but will be cancelled if there is a greater than 70% chance of thunderstorm or other hazardous weather.
