The Winter Giveback (Legacy Hires x Beneby's Bakery)

We’re proud to host a Donation Drive in support of The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) and its Precision Child Health initiative, which helps doctors diagnose faster, treat smarter, and predict better.

All contributions (whether monetary donations or gifts-in-kind) go directly toward advancing research, supporting families, and bringing comfort to young patients.

By donating new toys, books, toiletries, or gift cards, you’ll help brighten hospital stays and support essential care year-round. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a real difference in helping SickKids continue its mission to create a healthier future for every child.

🎟 Tickets: Pay-what-you-can, and 100% of ticket proceeds will be donated directly to SickKids Foundation.

Monetary Donations:
Cash, cheque, or online contributions. Tax receipts are available directly from SickKids.

Gifts-in-Kind (New Items Only):
Toys, books, electronics, gift cards, and entertainment items.
All items must be brand new, in original packaging, and coordinated in advance with SickKids.

Examples of Acceptable Gifts:

• Nickelodeon liquid lava putty, slime, silly putty
• Play-Doh (individual cups, not large sets with cutters)
• LEGO (small to medium sets)
• Stickers, pop-it toys, pop tubes, fidget toys
• Infant board books (no touch-and-feel books)
• Hot Wheels cars
• Toiletries (travel-size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant, toothbrush/toothpaste, hand lotion)
• Crayola colouring books, crayons, markers, teen colouring books
• Infant developmental toys (e.g. Fisher-Price light-up toys, stacking cups, shape sorters)
• Gift cards (grocery, gas, Indigo, Walmart) — these help support families year-round

• Used or gently used items (toys, books, electronics, etc.)
• Food items for patients (including baked goods, candy, drinks, or supplements)
• Unapproved or unscheduled drop-offs
• Direct delivery of gifts to patients (due to safety and privacy policies)

Your contributions will:

• Advance Precision Child Health, tailoring care to each child’s unique needs
• Support research, family-centred care, and hospital operations
• Bring comfort and joy to young patients through toys, books, and entertainment
