One Muskoka cottage. A yearly tradition of Friendsgiving and a whole lot left unsaid.About this EventThe Porch :itâ kâ-wasêtêki tâpwêwin(Where Truth is Brought Into the Light)Written by Danik McAfeeOne Muskoka cottage.A yearly tradition of Friendsgiving and a whole lot left unsaid.Between the cocktails, questionable decisions, old flames, new lovers, and one increasingly chaotic evening, The Porch is a dark comedy mystery about chosen family and the ridiculous lengths we go to keep the peace.Set against a celebration built around gratitude, the play asks what happens when the stories holding us together begin to crack.Through an Indigenous lens, The Porch draws a parallel between the sanitized history of Thanksgiving and the histories we rewrite within our own families.Because eventually, the drinks run out,the party ends and everything buried finds its way into the light.CASTJulian LamConnor MccaldenEvangeline Murphy-KingMiss Niki NikitaMorgan O'GradyMatt ScerriJamie RiceCaitlin TurnerCREATIVE TEAMDirector: Danik McAfeeProducers: Melly Magrath & Caitlin TurnerStage Manager/Lighting Designer: Clair MooneySet Designer: Morgan O'GradySound Designer: Alex PurcellCostume Designer: Alex VermeyDramaturgy: Kiana WooSHOWSPREVIEW- Tuesday October 20th @ 7:30PM (CODE REQUIRED)Wednesday October 21 @ 7:30PMThursday October 22nd @ 7:30pmFriday October 23rd @ 7:30pmSaturday October 24th @ 1:30pm (Talk back post show)Saturday October 24th @ 7:30pmSunday October 25th @ 1:30pmSunday October 25th @ 7:30pm - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/toronto/the-porch-itâ-kâ-wasêtêki-tâpwêwin/100001997391314189 - **Event Categories**: thanksgiving, parties, art, comedy, entertainment - **Slot details of has slots**: - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 0 - **Event Highlights**: - Duration: 2 hours - Location: The Assembly Theatre - Languages: English ## Ticket Details - **Ticket Price Range**: min: 0, max: 108.47, currency: CAD ## Event venue details - **city**: Toronto - **state**: ON - **country**: Canada - **location**: The Assembly Theatre - **lat**: 43.6399289 - **long**: -79.43936219999999 - **full address**: The Assembly Theatre, 1479 Queen Street West, Toronto, Canada ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: The Porch: itâ kâ-wasêtêki tâpwêwin - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events7/banners/b34a11937792ba11e576e4a1187a297554cdb3810288012bdc69f237d38db4e8-rimg-w1200-h600-dc080808-gmir.jpg?v=1789493601 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is The Porch: ita ka-waseteki tapwewin being held? - **A:** The Porch: ita ka-waseteki tapwewin takes place on Tue, 20 Oct, 2026 at 07:30 pm to Sun, 25 Oct, 2026 at 09:30 pm at The Assembly Theatre, 1479 Queen Street West, Toronto, Canada. - **Q**: Who is organizing The Porch: ita ka-waseteki tapwewin? - **A:** The Porch: ita ka-waseteki tapwewin is organized by Small but Mighty Productions. - **Q**: Who is this event for?
