This is not an art class, and no artistic experience is expected.The Art of Feeling is a monthly gathering that uses expressive arts for self-exploration, connection, and expression. Each month, we explore a different aspect of the human experience, creating space to better understand ourselves, connect with others, and discover new ways of expressing what lives within us.A Note About This SpaceThe Art of Feeling is a facilitated community gathering for reflection, conversation, connection, and creative expression. While many of the themes we explore can touch on personal experiences and emotions, this is not a therapy group, support group, or mental health service, and the facilitator is not acting as a therapist or mental health professional in this space.We strive to create a trauma-informed environment where participants are invited to engage at their own pace, honour their own boundaries, and share only what feels comfortable. You're always welcome to participate in ways that feel supportive and appropriate for you.Our intention is simply to create a space where humans can come together to explore what it means to be human... together... through conversation, creativity, curiosity, and connection.Get to Know Your FacilitatorNimanthie Ariyasinghe is a community weaver, artist, yoga and movement trainer, workshop facilitator, and lifelong student of what it means to be human.With a background in design, teaching, and community-centred programming, she creates spaces where people can slow down, connect with themselves and others, and explore life's big questions through conversation, creativity, movement, and shared experience. Much of Nim's work is inspired by her own journey of navigating grief, healing, belonging, love, identity, and what makes life feel meaningful.
