Over the years we have had some incredible Post Punk nights at the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave)! We know that there are a ton of Post Punk fans out there who love coming out to watch bands pay Tribute to this incredible era and genre of music! That’s why we are so excited to welcome to our stage for the very first time, The 1985 – A Tribute to the Sound and Should have British New Wave! Opening the show is the super talented singer/songwriter Carmen Toth! This night is going to be EPIC and a night that all fans of Post Punk need to check out! The doors for this show open at 8pm, Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door!

Carmen Toth is a Toronto singer-songwriter with a power pop sound reminiscent of the 80s and 90s. Whether on acoustic guitar playing solo or on electric with a full band, her unique, childlike voice, relatable lyrics and catchy hooks have drawn comparisons to Stevie Bandcampyndi Lauper and Kate Bush. Active in the independent music scene since 2003, she has three EPs to her credit and first full-length album, ‘Fix the World’ is currently available exclusively on Bandcamp.
