Winter Snowshoe Hike + Community Connection
Get outside this winter and join your Type 1 diabetes community for a rejuvenating snowshoe hike! Together we’ll explore snowy trails, enjoy fresh air and winter landscapes, and connect with others who truly get what it means to manage Type 1 diabetes outdoors — all at a pace that works for you.
This relaxed group adventure is about movement, mindfulness, laughter, and shared stories just as much as it is about snowshoeing itself. As always with Connected in Motion, there’s an emphasis on support, connection, and learning from one another — building confidence managing T1D in the winter while making new friends and memorable experiences.
Whether you’re newly diagnosed, a longtime T1D veteran, or part of someone’s support crew, this afternoon adventure is for everyone — from snowshoe novices to winter trail pros.
❄️ What to expect:
• A welcoming, supportive group of adults living with Type 1 diabetes and optional Support Crew
• Guided snowshoe hike through scenic winter trails
• An emphasis on community connection, fun, and shared experience
• Tips and space to learn about winter diabetes management in real time
