This 2-day Professional Scrum Master course is an exploration of the Scrum framework and the role of the Scrum Master.  The course is a combination of team-based exercises and instructor-led discussion.  PSM is the cutting-edge course for effective Scrum Masters and anyone coaching an organization toward business agility.

***All Scrum.org certifications are life-long.  New renewals required.


What You Get

The registration fee includes:


2-Days, in-person, PSM course with David Sabine, PST. A Professional Scrum training course created by Ken Schwaber, Scrum.org, and the Professional Scrum Trainer Community.

A token to attempt the PSM I asessment. (Or PSM II assessment if you already hold PSM I.)

Future discounts on the PSM II and PSM III assessments.

Snacks including a morning pastries, coffee and tea througout the day, and mid-afternoon snacks.

Who Should Attend

The PSM course is for anyone involved in product development or project delivery.  The course incorporates many examples related to software development, though the course is thoroughly enjoyable even for non-software product developers.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Parking is not included in the fee.  The room is just minutes from Union Station and accessible via the PATH.  I recommend you not bring a vehicle, but if you do please arrange your own parking in a nearby facility.


What can I bring into the event?

Please bring an open mind, curiosity, and be prepared to contribute to discussion.

Please leave your laptop at home.

Lunch is not provided. You are welcome to bring food and a eating-area is available.

What's the refund policy?

(Please disregard the refund policy sent by EventBrite.)


Beyond 7 days before the class, I will refund 100%.

Within 7 days before the class, I will refund 50% and you will have the option to attend a future class with me at 50% discount.

Within 24 hours before the class, I will not refund and you will have the option to attend a future class with me at 50% discount.



Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes.  I always recommend, before canceling, that you consider giving your registration to a friend or colleague.  Registration can be transferred to any other person prior to the start of the class.


PMP and PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) Certifications

If you are a member of PMI and attend this course, you can claim 14 PDUs which can be applied to Project Management Professional (PMP) and PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certifications.


Scrum Alliance CSP (Certified Scrum Professional) Credits

If you are a member of Scrum Alliance, you can claim 16 SEUs toward the pursuit or renewal of Certified ScrumMaster and the various Scrum Alliance certifications.
