Money Matters

Money Matters is a two-hour interactive workshop focused on helping participants gain clarity and confidence around their finances. Attendees will learn how money really works — from budgeting without feeling restricted, to understanding credit, debt, and interest, and building savings for both goals and emergencies.

The session is led by Lorette Acha, Mortgage Specialist at TD, and Cynthia Okonkwo, Supervisor of Procurement Coordination with the City of Toronto, who bring real-world experience and practical insight.

This workshop is ideal for anyone looking to make smarter money decisions early, ask questions without pressure, and leave with tools they can immediately apply in everyday life. Attendance is free and open to the community.
