MERCK Case Competition


Interested in global healthcare and life-changing innovations? Want to see YOUR marketing campaign implemented across all of Canada? Here is your opportunity to work directly with Merck and representatives from various marketing agencies to create a digital marketing campaign to promote the shingles vaccination and increase Merck's digital reach.

To participate, the Ryerson Marketing Association opens up applications for teams of 2-3 students who will submit their initial marketing campaign proposals by January 23rd. Best five ideas will work directly with industry mentors to develop and finalize proposed campaigns. The top two teams will receive $2500 and $1000, and an opportunity to implement their campaign in Canada.

Teams: 2-3 STUDENTS
Application Deadline: JANUARY 23, 2017, 11:59PM
FINAL ROUND: MARCH 16-17, 2017

COMPETITION FORMAT:
ROUND ONE
Applications are open to university students across the country. Teams are to submit their team information form and as well as their case proposal by January 23, 11:59PM.

ROUND TWO
The top 5 teams from across the country are selected and paired with an industry mentor who will help teams to further develop and fine tune their proposal and presentation.

FINAL ROUND
The top 5 teams are brought to Toronto where they will present their final solution to Merck's top executives. The top 2 teams will win grand prizes of $2,500 and $1,000.
