On Friday, November 22, the legendary Junior Cat touches down live from Jamaica for an explosive all-vinyl showcase inside BSMT 254 (254 Lansdowne Ave). This one is for the real sound system lovers and dancehall massive who know what authentic yard-style energy feels like!

Joining the fire line-up are Jamaican icons Little John and Colonel Lloydie, bringing that original 80s and 90s rub-a-dub flavor that built the foundation of dancehall culture. Representing Canada’s reggae roots are multiple JUNO Award winners Kirk Diamond and Godfadda Finn — a powerhouse artist and producer/DJ duo who’ve been making waves across the country with their conscious reggae sound and dynamic live performances.

This is an ALL VINYL event, strictly 45s and dubplates — no laptops, no USBs — just pure sound system culture! Feel the warmth of the wax and the heavy bassline courtesy of two of Toronto’s most respected sounds: Higher Heights and Pressure Drop Sound Systems, stringing up and shelling down the night in true dancehall fashion.
