Nostalgic yet timeless, Stand By Me is an iconic Stephen King adaptation that has captured the hearts of movie lovers for decades. Starring a veritable who’s who of young Hollywood stars, including a fifteen-year-old River Phoenix as the wise, and world-weary Chris and Wil Wheaton as his best friend Gordie, it accurately captures the triumphs and tribulations of that blink, or you’ll miss it moment between childhood and adulthood.
