Handstands and Beginner Acrobatics: Spring Term - 10 Weeks
This is an hour long class from 9:30am to 10:30am.
The term is 10 weeks long.
April: 7, 28
May: 5, 12, 19, 26
June: 2, 9
This is for beginner and intermediate handbalancers.
For beginners you will learn movements for wrist strengthening, mobility and how to apply the basics of body positioning for handstands. After developing this foundation we will learn how to get upside down, how to bail safely and how you can find your balance point.
For intermediate handbalancers we will work on improving your line as well as press to hanstands and handstand push-ups.
AcrobaticsBeginning with basic locomotions you will gain the confidence and awareness to begin exploring more movement possibilities. We will progress to basic tumbling and acrobatics.
