Grange Park Jazz Club is a performance and professional development group for emerging BIPOC, disabled and underrepresented jazz artists, offering networking, open rehearsal events, studio recording and paid performance opportunities. Founded by Theodore Walker Robinson, a Blind and Trans-Nonbinary jazz singer, Grange Park Jazz Club exists to build and sustain opportunities for the development of underrepresented artists in Canadian jazz music.Ceramic artwork has been generously donated to the event by Toronto artist Natasha Martin. This artwork will be raffled to support the CNIB Guide Dogs Program. Grange Park Jazz Club founder Theodore Walker Robinson is a lifelong client of the CNIB and has been on the Guide Dog waitlist for nearly 6 years. This raffle is in solidarity with Blind and Low Vision CNIB clients who waiting to be matched with a guide dog. A CNIB Ambassador Dog will be present for an evening meet-and-greet with guests. Come and meet a guide dog and support the CNIB Guide Dog Program by purchasing a raffle ticket ($5 each).
