- **Event Description**: Gentle Hatha & Mobility is a slow, accessible class designed to help your body move more freely, improving mobility, balance & flexibility.About this EventGentle Hatha & MobilityGentle Hatha & Mobility is a slow, accessible class designed to help your body move more freely, improving mobility, balance, flexibility, and everyday ease. Each session pairs gentle yoga postures with mindful mobility work, moving gradually through the spine, shoulders, hips, and joints to release stiffness and open up comfortable range of motion. Expect slow transitions, accessible stretches, light strengthening, and balance work, all without the intensity or pace of a traditional flow class. The focus isn't on how deep you can stretch, but on moving with awareness and building confidence in your body. It's a great fit for beginners, active older adults, anyone returning to movement, or anyone who wants a softer complement to a more active practice. The 45-minute class is a refreshing full-body reset, while the 60-minute version gives you more time to move slowly, hold postures longer, and spend extra attention on areas of tension.Every session opens with two minutes of breathwork and closes with three minutes of stillness and the resonant vibration of OM, sealing the practice with a sense of calm and gentle awareness. All levels welcome. Mats are provided. Just bring water and something comfortable to move in.

"description": "In Japanese, Kawa means river.River symbolism has been an integral part of human civilization. Rivers can represent the natural flow of nature and the power of time. The nature of river as moving body of water can find its way through almost any kind of physical barrier until it unites with the vast ocean. The river’s movement is constant and ever changing. During its journey to the ocean, the water moistens the soil along the passage, supporting life alone the way. From this symbolism, Yoga Kawa is born.We see yoga as that important life-giving nourishment that is meant to be weaved into our live routines naturally. Empowered, just like the river, we can complete all the changing twists and turns of the life journey finally pouring into the peaceful ocean. This is our basis for a happier and healthier future, built on natural integration of yoga philosophy and practice into life outside of the studio."
