In the process, you’ll not only learn how to scope out some of the fraudulent practices and scams that unfortunately go with the territory, but also how to tell if those precious family heirlooms have any true value beyond the sentimental.

Nicky Elliot is an FCGmA certified gemologist and R-PJA certified jewelry appraiser who also designs and creates jewelry through his own Gemesis Creations,. His original pieces are on display in various venues including Ed’s Mercantile.
