She is a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, University of Toronto, and a scientific lead of the Schroeder Institute for Brain Innovation and Recovery and of the Canadian Concussion Centre.Sophia Yue Li, Staff Scientist &amp; Strategic Partnerships Manager at KITE Research InstituteDr. Sophia Yue Li is a staff scientist and Strategic Partnerships Manager at UHN's KITE Research Institute, with cross-appointments as a Professor in the Department of Mechanical &amp; Industrial Engineering at the University of Toronto. Armed with a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Montreal, her research spans assistive technologies, the interplay of weather and the built environment on safety and accessibility, and human factors in fall prevention. With over two decades of biomedical engineering and rehabilitation expertise, Dr. Li has led impactful initiatives addressing practical challenges for older adults and people with disabilities.Garrick Ng, KITE Creates Program Lead, Partnerships &amp; Strategic InitiativesGarrick is the Program Lead for KITE Creates, an initiative at the University Health Network’s KITE Research Institute that builds bridges between healthcare, creative technology, media, education, and design innovators to unlock novel, more human-centred approaches to caring for people with increasingly complex accessibility needs. Garrick has a background in impact storytelling, arts management and sustainability – having served diverse mandates in non-profit arts management, corporate sustainability and strategy and communications consulting. Garrick is a mentor in the social entrepreneurship community and has served as a graduate-level instructor for several major Canadian universities. He holds an MBA in Business &amp; Sustainability from the Schulich School of Business.Jonathan Suckling, Senior Manager, Health Innovation, CABHIJonathan Suckling has supported the growth of more than 50+ start-ups in the Age-Tech space and has a background in evaluating both health and social impact.
