This class is open to all levels and focuses on full-body awareness, with special emphasis on footwork, counter-rhythms, and palmas.  
We will begin with a complete warm-up to optimize the use of our flamenco bodies.  
The class begins with a full warm-up to optimize the use of our flamenco bodies. 
A large portion of the class will be dedicated to developing efficient and optimal zapateado, both anatomically and in terms of flamenco weight distribution. 
We will then work on to building endurance and speed in the footwork, as well as exploring contratiempo and palmas. 
You will leave feeling greater freedom and confidence in your body!

This class includes a zapateado section to support the body work, though the main focus will be on optimal  posture for stronger flamenco expressiveness. 
After a general warm-up, we will move into technical exercises designed to develp fluidity and a solid foundation in upper body movement. 
The class will conclude with focused work on vueltas (classic, quebradas, des caderas).
