Kick off Endometriosis Awareness Month with a nourishing, hands-on evening designed to support your body and delight your senses. Join us for an endometriosis-friendly cooking class where guests will explore anti-inflammatory ingredients, learn practical cooking skills, and discover delicious, feel-good flavours.
Chef Vanessa Yeung (@aphroditecooks) will guide participants, who will work together to prepare and cook a complete meal, before sitting down to enjoy a family-style communal dining experience with fellow guests. The evening also features special guest speaker Sarah Grossman (@livingkitchenco), who will share insights into how food impacts both the mind and body. Each guest will leave with a thoughtful parting gift and a copy of Sarah Grossman’s cookbook, .
Cooking Class Menu - Served Family Style:
Snacks - Cheese and Fruit Board
Appetizer - Thai Salad Rolls with Shrimp, Mango and Avocado
Main - Stuffed Chicken Thighs with Sundried Tomato and Artichokes with Roasted Red Pepper Sauce – vegetarian option will be provided; Wild Mushroom Risotto; Vegetarian Salad Nicoise
Dessert - Orange Almond Cake with Whipped Cream and Cherry Compote
Beverages - A variety of options including non-alcoholic bubbly provided by Silver Swallow (@silverswallowco)
The event takes place on Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm ET at Aphrodite Cooks in Etobicoke, ON. Tickets are $75 per person, with limited availability. Dietary restrictions and preferences will be happily accommodated.
No experience required. RSVP early to avoid disappointment and join us for an evening of connection, learning, and nourishing food in support of endometriosis awareness.

Info: Chef Vanessa will guide guests through the evening's menu in an interactive way, making the process of cooking accessible for beginners as well as interesting for those who are more advanced. Together, you will make a delicious meal that will satisfy your appetite, while learning about anti-inflammatory foods and their impact on your overall health and wellbeing.
