# Event Details - **Event Name**: Big Vinyl Record Swap - **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 17 Oct, 2026 at 03:00 pm – Sat, 17 Oct, 2026 at 06:00 pm (-04:00) - **Event Description**: If you have 5 records of 50 records to trade - this event is for you! FREE to attend, but you might want to 'rent' a table.About this EventBy popular demand we are adding aVINYL SWAPOn the same day as our MEGA BOOK SWAPInfo here:This runs differently than the book swap.#1 It only runs 3pm-6pm#2 (Almost) All swapping is between people How it works:If you have 20 or more records to swap, we recommend you 'rent' a 3 foot table. This would fit at least 2 crates of records. That way people come to you, look through your collection, and try to make trades. 'Renting' a table is $6-$10 an hour. If you have less than 20 records to swap, you can walk around and visit the tables or use the 'communal' table to make trades. If you want to leave/donate any records, they will be added to the 'donation pool' and people can buy them for $5, with all money going to support Glad Day Lit's non-profit work.TO RENT A TABLEChoose the time you want to ‘rent’ the table by buying the time slot here on Eventbrite. There are TWO CHOICES of table:A) A three foot table that fits 2 milk crates of records easily. You can rent this for one, two or three hours at $6 an hour.B) An extra wide four foot table that fits 6 milk crates of records on it easily. This you rent for the whole 3 hours for $30, with extra time for set-up and take-down.A note on ‘swapping’:This is really meant to be a SWAP not a market. Records should not be priced, but if people end up haggling and negotiating deals with each other, (like “I will trade you these 5 records and $20 for that one record”) we are not going to care. AccessibilityThe entrance, space and washrooms are wheelchair accessible.Do NOT wear strong scents like cologne, body spray or perfume.  https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events5/banners/d83a8620-c065-11f1-aa7e-893ff00ac3f2-rimg-w592-h740-dc080808-gmir.jpg https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events2/banners/d8473050-c065-11f1-aa7e-893ff00ac3f2-rimg-w592-h740-dc082848-gmir.jpg - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/toronto/big-vinyl-record-swap/100002002921651577 - **Event Categories**: fitness, Nonprofit - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 0 - **Event Highlights**: - Duration: 3 hours - Location: Glad Day Lit - Languages: English ## Ticket Details - **Ticket Price Range**: min: 0, max: 30, currency: CAD ## Event venue details - **city**: Toronto - **state**: ON - **country**: Canada - **location**: Glad Day Lit - **lat**: 43.6420585 - **long**: -79.42330729999999 - **full address**: Glad Day Lit, 32 Lisgar Street, Toronto, Canada ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: Big Vinyl Record Swap - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events5/banners/7178c407ac8ee5dd034ecbd785068513c33fd1d9264addbf44a86625d1b42c08-rimg-w1200-h1500-dc080808-gmir.jpg?v=1791167945 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is Big Vinyl Record Swap being held? - **A:** Big Vinyl Record Swap takes place on Sat, 17 Oct, 2026 at 03:00 pm to Sat, 17 Oct, 2026 at 06:00 pm at Glad Day Lit, 32 Lisgar Street, Toronto, Canada. - **Q**: Who is organizing Big Vinyl Record Swap? - **A:** Big Vinyl Record Swap is organized by Glad Day Bookshop. - **Q**: Who is this event for?
