The University of Toronto Campus Philharmonic Orchestra is a campus-wide orchestra open for non-music majors at undergrad and graduate levels, as well as faculty, staff, and community members who play an orchestral instrument and want to take some time off their routines to play music in a positive and stimulating environment. The orchestra was founded and directed by doctoral student Lorenzo Guggenheim. From the beginning it has been a full-size symphonic orchestra that performs works of the large orchestral repertoire once per semester. We believe in creating interdisciplinary collaboration and interdepartmental connections across campus as part of the academic experience and generating a broader sense of community. We have performed several concerts at MacMillan Theatre, Metromolitan United Church and also during the summer at the Royal Ontario Museum for thousands of attendees. www.facebook.com/UofTCPO
*** The suggested donation helps us fund the orchestra. It is important to us that our concerts are accessible to all, regardless of financial situation, so if you wish you can make as small a donation as you can at the door the day of the concert. The tickets can be obtained online through Eventbrite or the day of the performance from 7:30 pm ***
