She teaches history at the University of Toronto’s School of Continuing Studies, where she has twice received the Arts and Science Excellence in Teaching Award.Her work has been featured by major outlets including the BBC, CNN, CBC, The Globe and Mail, and The Wall Street Journal.In 2025, Dr. Harris was awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal for her contributions to public understanding of history.
