In occasione della serata di chiusura della dodicesima edizione, Seeyousound International Music Film Festival presenta Bowie: The Final Act di Jonathan Stiasny, ospite dell'evento in occasione della prima internazionale del film.

A dieci anni dalla scomparsa di David Bowie, il documentario si addentra nel cuore di Blackstar, ultimo album e autentico testamento artistico, restituendo il ritratto di un artista radicale fino all’ultimo, capace di trasformare la fine in un gesto creativo definitivo.

Il film ripercorre le ultime decadi della carriera di Bowie, scegliendo di mettere in secondo piano i momenti più iconici per concentrarsi su una fase meno celebrata ma profondamente significativa. Tra ricostruzioni d’archivio e testimonianze intime, emergono il live al Glastonbury Festival del 2000 e la genesi di Blackstar, raccontata anche attraverso il ricordo commosso del produttore e storico collaboratore Tony Visconti, che rievoca le sessioni segrete dell’album come il lascito consapevole di un artista lucido davanti alla propria fine, in un intenso dialogo tra passato e presente.
