Join us for the inaugural conference of the Hub for Ethics and Emerging Technologies (HEET), a new research hub affiliated with the Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies (IEET), based at the University of Turin. This full-day event will bring together leading experts and early-career researchers to explore the ethical dimensions of emerging technologies, including human enhancement, artificial intelligence, and quantum technology.

We aim to foster a constructive and responsible approach to technological progress, focusing on how these powerful technologies can be developed safely, ethically, and for the benefit of society.

Highlights of the Conference:

• Panel Discussions on critical topics such as Human Enhancement Technologies, Trustworthy AI Development, and Ethical Implications of Quantum Technologies.
• Opportunities to network and connect with leading researchers and practitioners in the fields of ethics and technology, including a special dinner for speakers.

This event will serve as a catalyst for establishing HEET as a central hub for ethical inquiry into emerging technologies, emphasizing the need for responsible innovation and practical ethical solutions at European and international levels.
