Topeka EasterFest 2026

The 2026 Topeka EasterFest will be held in the NOTO Arts District on N. Kansas Avenue on Saturday, March 28, 2026, the week before Easter (instead of the day before Easter as in the past). There will be no parade this year due to traffic restrictions, but all the other usual activities will be there, plus a few new options!

We will have the Big Egg Hunt in Veterans Park (at the north end of the Kansas Ave. Bridge. Also in that area will be a Petting Zoo, Inflatables, Vendors and Food Trucks!

In Redbud Park we will have Live Music, Cake Walks, Vendors both inside and outside, and Food Trucks across the street next to NOTO Arts Center, along with a kid's Foam Party!

There will also be vendors inside and outside of the Arts Center, and some outdoor entertainment.

On the sidewalks on Kansas Avenue (as well as in the breezeway connecting Veterans Park) there will also be vendors, some of them from local NOTO businesses and others brought in from across Topeka and Kansas!

In total we will have over 100 vendors taking part!

This will be a celebration like we've never had before!

EVENT SCHEDULE

10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.: Fun Fair will take place inside and outside at NOTO Arts District (in Veterans Park, Redbud Park & pavilion, NOTO Arts Center & courtyard, and on the streets & breezeway connecting these areas!) with activity booths, 10+ Food Trucks, Live Music, Vendor Market, entertainment, Easter Bunny Photos, Petting Zoo, Inflatables, kid's games and more!

Something new this year is our Walking Easter Book activity, where kids go from station to station, and each station is a poster of a page from the book, and includes a related activity.

We're also working on a Scavenger Hunt, which kids can complete and turn in for a prize!

10:10 am: the Big Egg Hunt in Veterans Park for preschool and under starts shortly after parade! 11:10 pm: Egg Hunt for K-2nd grade. 12:10 pm: Egg Hunt for 3rd-5th grade. All Egg Hunts coordinated by Let's Help or other non-profits!

10:15 am: Live music outside at Redbud Park

11:00, 12:00 and 1:00 pm: Cupcake Walks near the Live Music Stage!

The Family Fun Fair consists of activities geared toward children and families, as well as booths, exhibits, and other activities such as Easter crafts, children’s games, face painting, selfie booth, baked goods, petting zoo, bounce houses and more. Admission and many activities will be FREE; some activities will have a cost.

Live performers will be on hand all day, including bands and other performers on the streets and in the park.
