Part of our year-long series of First Day Hikes, we will explore the trails at the Grant Bradbury Prairie outside of Topeka.Mowed grass trails encircle the perimeter and run through this 76.2-acre park. The Grant-Bradbury nature area is a virgin/native prairie (never been plowed). The prairie area blooms with wild flowers during June. There are many bird houses located along the trail. We will take the time to notice all the nature around us as we hike the trails. When you hike with Dirty Girl Adventures, we accommodate different paces, marvel at the small details of nature, and connect with the group, creating new friendships along the way.
