HHHS is hosting a GNOME HOME building class to raise funds for the shelter! For $15, you’ll get all supplies and instruction (supplies provided by HHHS and Topeka Ren Fest) to create your very own gnome home. Class will be taught by HHHS Staff Grace Clinton, who is far too into fairies and gnomes. All you need to bring with you is whatever type container you want your gnome home to be inside of as a building base: whether a cardboard box, an old lantern, a piece of bark, an small unused appliance - whatever you want! Honestly, anything can be a gnome home! 

ALL AGES WELCOME!

Build it simple or go all out—then choose what happens next:
• Take it home and enjoy it
• OR (reccomended) enter it into the Topeka Renaissance Festival Gnome Home Building Contest (entry is FREE for individuals, due by June 12th—and we can even help coordinate your submission!)

Payment is by cash, card, or Venmo, due to HHHS the night of. Ideally, we'd like to prepare enough supplies so let us know ahead of time if you are coming! 

If you choose to enter the Topeka Ren Fest Contest:
• You’ll receive a FREE day pass to the Topeka Renaissance Festival (June 12–14)
• The festival will donate $1 per entry to our friends at SENT
• You’ll be entered to win a $50 cash prize (winner chosen by Facebook votes after the festival)

Don’t want your gnome home back after the contest? The festival is happy to keep it for future displays and add it to their gnome village!

Come grab some great food, build something fun, and support the animals at HHHS while you’re at it.
