Topic: Getting the Green Light-Achieving Ecological Progress in Kansas

Zack Pistora is a 2006 graduate of Tonganoxie High School and a graduate of Kansas State University. He became the first director of the Kansas Chapter of the Sierra Club in 2024. Prior to that Zach was an environmental lobbyist for the Kansas Chapter, the only full-time environmental lobbyist in Kansas.

This program will explore environmental challenges in such areas as water, energy, food, plastics, wildlife, and climate change. The discussion will also include possible solutions to some of these challenges.

The meeting begins at 7 with a brief business meeting followed by the historical program.

Refreshments will be served after the program.
