Kitsugi Workshop

Guided by expert ceramic conservator Andri Maimaridou, students will work with a pre-broken ceramic bowl and use modern techniques to reassemble and transform it with striking golden seams.

Inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi, this hands-on workshop combines creativity with mindfulness, offering the chance to make your own unique piece to take home while exploring the beauty of imperfection and renewal.

Students will work with a pre-broken ceramic bowl and use safe, modern materials to reassemble the fragments. The joins will be finished with fine bronze powder, creating the distinct golden lines that make Kintsugi so recognisable.
