The Athena Level 4 Diploma offers eligibility to become a Registered Practitioner with AAHEP (international recognition), and for UK-based practitioners, meets the qualification requirement for application to the first animal and horticultural based UK National Practitioner Register regulated under the Professional Standards Authority.

The Athena Level 4 Diploma is also a prerequisite for the Athena Level 5 Equine Assisted Services Diploma.  Many go on and complete the Athena Level 7 Postgraduate Certificate in Equine Assisted Services.
