The community is invited to the "Tidings of Comfort & Joy Service" on Sunday, December 7 at 6:00 pm in the Sanctuary. Advent is not always a time of festive celebrations and joy. Hard times and losses may darken the festive feelings that are expected during the holidays. Also called a "Blue Christmas Service" or “The Longest Night,” this worship experience is designed to help you come out of the darkness as you honor memories of what was and use your faith to confront the fears of what may be. Please invite your family, friends, and neighbors to come share a contemplative space with others who are looking for God to hold them close and be near until the light returns.
