Bug Hunting at Kingcombe

🌼 Join us for a Bug Hunting Easter adventure!

This Easter holidays, step into the beautiful spring meadows of Kingcombe and discover a secret world of tiny creatures. We will help young explorers uncover beetles, butterflies, bugs, beasties and all the wriggly wonders hiding in the meadows and woods.

A perfect day out for curious kids, nature-loving families, and anyone who enjoys fresh air and wildlife! Join us on this family event at Kingcombe Visitor Centre the gateway to Kingcombe Meadows Nature Reserve.

This event is suitable for families with children from 4 to 12 years. All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

BOOKING ESSENTIAL.

Event runs 10.30am - 12 noon.

Tickets are charged at £4 per child, accompanying adults FREE.

Please book a ticket for all members of your party.

Please be aware that there may be areas of uneven muddy ground so wear wellingtons or walking boots. Also bring what you need (hats, coats, drinking water etc) and wear clothing appropriate to weather on the day.

Free parking is available on site.

Toilet and baby changing facilities on site.

Dorset Wildlife Trust partner cafe The Kitchen at Kingcombe will be open and offers a delicious range of food and drinks. Please see their Facebook page for latest opening times and seasonal menu.

Terms and Conditions for Participants

DWT reserves the right to cancel the event at any time. In the event of DWT cancelling an event, a full refund will be issued.

DWT reserves the right to reschedule events in the event of unfavourable conditions and offer alternative dates or issue a full refund.

Cancelling your booking

Cancellations are accepted at the discretion of Dorset Wildlife Trust and a reasonable cancellation cause should be provided by the participant.

You may request a cancellation up to 7 days before the date of the course or workshop. You may be charged an administration fee.
