Autism S.O.A.R., Autism SOAR - Spectrum Opportunities in Arts and Recreation was founded to offer a space for youth and young adults to socialize, have creative and educational enrichment through arts and recreation activities, and to discover their potential. We were also the first to host sensory-friendly movies at Cinemark in Manchester with over 100 attendees at each of them. (Autism S.O.A.R. is a program of Autism Multicultural Program-AMP, which also offers information through forums and informational events.)

After a long program hiatus due to a loss of space, Autism S.O.A.R. is thankful to Star Hill Family Athletic Center in Tolland, CT (right next to the Vernon line) for partnering with us to offer this first-time arts AND fitness event! Fostering fitness for individuals on the spectrum has always been a part of Autism S.O.A.R.'s mission.  

We have had great partners, supporters and volunteers to help build this program. I look forward to seeing old friends on the autism spectrum and their families and welcoming new ones!
