To culminate a year celebrating 125 years of the Toledo Zoo and 40 years of Lights Before Christmas presented by Huntington Bank, we’re lighting up the sky like never before with our first-ever drone shows! 🎄🌟✨
A dazzling display of 400 synchronized drones will kick off the Tree Lighting Ceremony at approximately 6 p.m., with a second show around 8:30 p.m. to close out the night in spectacular style. Both shows can be viewed near the Amphitheatre and Formal Gardens.
The first 1,000 visitors on Nov. 21 will have the chance to receive an exclusive commemorative t-shirt. The giveaway begins at 3 p.m. and will be available while supplies last at staffed tables located in Blade Plaza.
Guests can enjoy the festivities throughout the Zoo with:
- Roaming holiday characters & performers
- Visits with Santa
- Seasonal treats and cozy fire pits
- Caroling by Masterworks Chorale
- Ice carving demonstration
Starting at 4 p.m., WTOL will be broadcasting live leading up to the Tree Lighting Ceremony, where our award-winning 85-foot Norway spruce will shine bright once again! The drone shows will not be broadcast.
On Nov. 21, admission will be from 3 - 9 p.m., Zoo closes at 10 p.m.
