Toledo Opera invites the community to a free performance of The Bear Who Couldn’t Fish, an original children’s opera presented as this year’s Opera On Wheels touring production.
Follow Mato, a young bear who sets out on his own for the very first time, as he learns to fish. Along the way, he meets a cast of animal friends who teach him about perseverance, curiosity, and respect for nature. Set in the lush forests surrounding the Great Lakes, this heartwarming story blends humor, heart, and environmental awareness - a musical adventure the whole family will enjoy.
After the performance, attendees are invited to stay for cookies and punch along with a very special meet-and-greet with the artists!
