- **Event Description**: Our next episode of postcard writing is here and we will be joined by special guest host, Lucas County Stonewall Democrats. In support of inclusivity and to uplift trans candidates, we will be writing for Avery Rowland, a transgender woman running for Kansas State House District 42. Her platform is common sense to empower and protect all Kansas citizens - free breakfast and lunch to all K-12 students, legalizing marijuana to increase tax revenue, and protecting bodily autonomy and personal rights for people to make their own decisions. We will be writing approximately 200 postcards for Avery's campaign, in addition to our usual Lucas County candidates and anything else I can rustle up between now and then.

As always, stamp donations are appreciated but not required. Snacks are welcome to share because we can't save democracy on an empty stomach. (I really should get that trademarked)
