Poe Road Music Sanctuary Inc. proudly presents "A Show for Poe 2" at Riverside BBQ Company on March 28th 2026. The Poe Road Music Sanctuary in scenic Grand Rapids, Ohio is finally an official non-profit organization here in the Great state of Ohio. We have our 501c3 accreditation& can now accept donations & apply for grants to host/produce events & give back to the next generation & many more to come. Wayne's dream/vision has always been sustainability, creating youth programs, putting instruments in kid's hands, & giving back to the community. The non-profit/501c3 credentials allow us to do just that. Building for the future, honoring our past, & focused on the present! This is the second Poe Road fundraising event & we could not be more excited for Riverside's support with this endeavor. All artists/bands/musicians will be donating their art/set for the event & every dollar raised goes back to the newest non-profit music/performing arts venue in the 419. This event is FREE admission with a suggested $10 Donation at the Door! Thanks & let's all make this the Best Show for Poe we possibly can.
For as many memories and festivals Poe Rd. Has hosted for us - we as the board want to start putting love back into our sacred land. We want to better accommodate our patrons and performers with raising money to make sure we are giving the best experience for those who visit.
We are raising money for a few examples:
• Generators/electricity to better light the grounds for bands who have late sets and to offer electricity for camping RV’s.
• Stationary portopotties to offer to anyone who would like to rent the land to help save on costs.
• Making the land safer as far as tree limbs, holes in the land/leveling, and to make our land more handicap accessible.
• Drainage for the land is a big one so camping in the woods is dry and exciting
• Expand our parking lot to invite more people to experience our music sanctuary.
• Expand art into some kind of gazebo/shelter to offer workshops and to highlight the talent of artists and make sure kids have fun activities to do during the day!
• Accommodate ice bag refills with a possible large ice cooler for everyone so they don’t need to leave the lands when camping
• Regular stage maintenance to make sure the bands feel comfortable when performing and so much more!
