- **Event Description**: This Saturday the 25th we will hike to see waterfalls, new spring leaves and lake Kamakita - known for its beauty many years ago.  The area used to be a resort area but over the years lost its glamour (buildings/hotel) and now seems to be in a revival mode.

We will meet in the FRONT CAR of Seibu line in Ikebukuro station for the Seibu Ikebukuro Line Rapid (for Hanno) at 8:35am reaching Hanno station at 9:24am, We will then switch to the Seibu Chichibu Line (for Seibu Chichibu) leaving the station at 9:32am reaching our jump off point of Higashi Agano station at 9:48.  We will return to Ikebukuro from Musashi Yokote station.  

Please note that we depart on time and cannot wait for you if you don't make the trains described here.  You can meet us on the way if you connect from other parts of the area.  You are also responsible for your own safety and choice to join us.  Hiking insurance is suggested bu not mandatory.  

Please make sure that you are well equipped and let me know that you are planning to come.  Bring a hiking stick if you are unstable in rocky areas, bento/lunch, 2 liters of water, hiking boots, hat and sunscreen.  Good soles on your boots or shoes are required on this hike - rain made things slippery - so, sandals or tennis shoes will not be allowed.
