naantoka is a nu-jazz and funk band with retro Bollywood influences, based in Tokyo. Their performances are largely improvised, which means that no two gigs are ever the same.

Four musicians with roots in Black music came together at a jam session to form ITADAKI. Influenced by R&B and gospel, we are a hungry group striving for a tasteful sound, grounded in the unique groove each member contributes.

You’re compelled to continue swinging your body to the tempo as DJ Luke Hobbs emerges from the smoky backdrop gifting the masses with one final set. If you were to visually capture this organic sound on canvas, you’d stand for a moment upon the piece and claim it as avant-garde. Hobbs has an immaculate way of capturing music at its very core, and the result is almost an animalistic blend of big disco, rock, and accidental tribal. The urge to dance is transfixing, and you surrender yourself.

【About the Venue】
◾️ HAVANA 1950 ◾️
A bar lounge that combines music, food, culture, and art from around the world. This bar was based after Havana, Cuba from the 1950's. That area was a hotspot for significant people within the community such as the wealthy and mafia bosses. Located just 30 seconds away from Hiroo station, this old timey, traditionally structured restaurant is the perfect spot to jump back into the 1950's as their beautiful red and gold theme forms a truly sophisticated ambiance.
