My name is Jill Boland, and I am the owner and personal trainers at Wellness Warehouse KC.My fitness journey began when I was fifteen. I started lifting with an Olympic Weightlifting coach in my small hometown in Iowa. I began to train to increase strength, prevent injury, and increase power/explosiveness and agility for sports.That is where I immediately fell in love with strength training, health, and its numerous benefits. Since then, I have acquired bachelor’s degrees in Kinesiology and Spanish (sí, Español!) from the University of Northern Iowa (UNI) and multiple certifications, including Olympic Weightlifting Performance Coach Level 1, UNI’s Personal Training certification, TRX, and NESTA.I have been training for 14 years and continue to love to train athletes at all levels, whether it be sports performance, overall improvement in health or strength, weight loss, rehab, improving mobility, or hypertrophy (building muscle).My approach has always been to train/coach with positive instruction and motivation, along with healthy and positive guidance on nutrition.My philosophy is the reason we work out is because of the love for our bodies.
