Come out to Locust Stake OHV Area for a big day on Saturday, February 28.
1. The makers of the onX Offroad mapping app will sponsor GARTRA’s trail work/ride that day.
2. OnX Offroad will provide $600 to provide lunch and prizes for a drawing among the volunteers present.
3. Also they will provide a few three month free subscriptions to onX Offroad to be given away free to some lucky volunteers.
4. And they are sending some onX Offroad swag to be given away.
5. And they will make a $2500 donation to GARTRA.

Our Forest Service Ranger for the Locust Stake OHV Area will arrange for the Tread Lightly organization (
https://treadlightly.org) to be there that day.
We’ll be working on cleaning up limbs and trees that fell from the ice storm a few weeks ago, but otherwise trails should be in good shape. We’ll also focus on regular maintenance: clearing face slappers and fixing any ruts holding water. Please bring your bike or ATV, loppers, gloves, etc. to help trim and remove limbs. Lunch is sponsored by OnX and will be a catered meal, so please respond with your attendance to the Facebook event or by email so we can get a proper head count for food. Please help spread the word too, we’re hoping to have a good turnout of people!
