- **Event Description**: We'd like to encourage you to participate in our social run in Aros Park.

Every Saturday at 9:30am we'll meet in Aros Park car park to have a social run in lieu of a traditional Parkrun.
You can walk or run. You can clock as many loops around the pond, as you wish. One loop is 1.67km, which is slightly above 1 mile distance. If you wish to match Parkrun distance - that's 3 loops.

This is a family friendly event, and everyone is welcome.
This is event for people of all levels of fitness - from beginners to advanced runners - we respect and support each other.

Remember - you don't have to be great to get started, but you have to start to become great!

RULES:
- This is a SOCIAL RUN, not a RACE
- Run is performed anti-clockwise around the pond in Aros Park
- everybody is same important and same valued regardless of how advanced in fitness / running they are
- please be aware that there might be walkers / runners not associated with APSR which can move in opposite direction
- Please do not create groups that would take all width of a path. Allow faster runners to overtake on your right.

Distance:
1 loop: 1.67km = 1.03 mile
3 loops: 5.01km = 3.11 miles (Parkrun distance)
6 loops: 10.02km = 6.22 miles
10 loops: 16.70km = 10.37 miles
13 loops: 21.71km = 13,4 miles (just over Half Marathon distance)
