This involves training our mind to see the world as shapes instead of objects and then contouring those shapes. Instead of drawing from our imagination, we will practice drawing from direction observation, which means we use our eyes as our camera and get our hands to form the images we see with pen and paper.This course is ideal for you if you want to journal what you see in your daily life in your sketchbook wherever go, but you don’t want to stress so much about making perfect drawing. For example, you want to sketch your neighborhood, vacation scenes, your friends, or your loved ones, on location or even from a photograph.Our primary line tool will be pens combined with diluted ink for simple washes. In this class, we will not use colour because we want to focus more on creating tonal values from white to black. With these skills, you will be able to capture your world quicker and with more ease. You also be able to apply what you learn to other forms of art like still life, imaginative drawings and even comics.This Pen and Ink class will be similar to my previous Pen & Ink beginner class, but with somedifferences.
