Kelly & Sarah at Pow Wow Days

Tiskilwa, IL celebrates Pow Wow Days every year on the weekend of the first Saturday of August. Pow Wow Days is a 4-day event that includes a parade, 5K run, a beer garden, food stands, church-sponsored lunches, historical tours and many other events.

Come out to the Beer Garden for some country originals and covers on August 2 between 1pm and 4pm!

Pow Wow Days was founded in 1976 as part of the national bicentennial. It may be, though, that the bicentennial was just the spark but not the driving force behind Pow Wow Days. The essence and purpose of Pow Wow Days may well be defined by a presence of what was to come and a desire to preserve and protect what is good and unique at the core of this small-town community with a history of its own going back over 150 years.
