This is a Glitz & Glamour event, where elegance and sophistication is of the essence for this ocassion.The event is about coming together as a community, to represent and recognised the Windrush Pioneers, by us acknowledging their Legacy, and the many sacrifices that they made for Great Britain."Survival" is about celebrating WINDRUSH DAY, through FASHION, MUSIC our LEGACY and CULTURE.On the 21st June 2026, it will be the 78 Years Anniversary since the 1st set of Caribbean migrants came to England to support Great Britain, during, and after the 2nd WW, all those migrants then were British subjects during that period.The event is about paying homage, and acknowledging the elders who paved the way for today's modern Britain.V.O.W.S,with the support of the community, would like to invite all the elders over the age 85, to come out with their family and friends to celebrate the day with us. It is a family affair where you will be entertained by some of Birmingham's finest artist and DJ's+ special guest speaker's. Caribbean cuicines will be available on the day for diner's.
