We are excited to welcome anyone (not just climbers) who want to help take care of this precious resource. we are also excited to expand this event as part of the High Rocks Parknership!PROJECTS:Invasive plant removalPlanting nativesFence paintingBuilding steps (yes, more steps)General tidying upSomething for everyone! Project area will be assigned upon arrival.THINGS TO KNOW:Come for all or come for part. All help is appreciated!Please bring whatever food or drink you need for the day. We will have a water refill station and some light snacks to grab.Wear clothes that can get dirty and sturdy closed-toe shoes. Feel free to bring your own gloves but we will have some to borrow.We will provide trash bags, tools and all trail equipment.Plan to come to the Vista parking lot on Tory Rd but be prepared to be directed elsewhere if the lot is full. Shuttle service will be available.Please RSVP so we can reach out with any important communications prior to the event.WHO IS ORGANIZING THIS WORK?A group of mission-aligned non-profit and government organizations is coming together in this special parknership to restore the habitat in this favorite Bucks County destination. The Tinicum Conservancy is leading the project, in close partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Bucks County Parks & Recreation, Eastern Pennsylvania Alliance of Climbers and the Tohickon Watershed Association. Collectively we believe that combining resources and leveraging our complementary expertise into a large, visible project is the best way to make a meaningful impact.This special “High Rocks Parknership” effort is made possible by support from the Lower Delaware Wild & Scenic Management Council, funded by the National Park Service.
