A.Maiah Ttakun is a duo presentation built around the upcoming Drone Blues album "Ehortzi ezazue ene bihotza / Erre ezazue ene gorpua" (Bury my heart / Burn my body) that Asier Maiah recorded solo during late august and early september 2025. With lyrics taken from the words of American Indian chiefs as portrayed in the book "Bury my heart in Wounded Knee" by Dee Brown, the album talks about the land, belonging, roots, community, environment, honor and pride. Asier Maiah sings in basque and plays prepared electric guitar while Andoni Penela builds drones with processed bass clarinet and brings some percussion to the mix. The album and the live experience is immersive and requires the audience to let themselves go while listening actively."
