submeet - ‘codename ®’

submeet is a noise post-punk trio active since 2017 in Mantua, Italy. After a debut EP with
shoegaze influences, the band evolved toward a rawer, more noise-driven and industrial
sound, culminating in their first LP Terminal (2020, Lady Sometimes Records).

With “codename ®” (2025), the band defines a new identity—punk, electronic, and high-
voltage—brought to the stage through intense, uncompromising live performances
codename ® is the answer to everything our subconscious can’t express. A manifesto album
that embodies the discomfort, identity, and noise of our generation. Sharp distortions, biting
electronics, and a coded language that speaks of one thing but says it all.
