Instead of curating a speaker ourselves, we invited our friends at JAZZx to take on the challenge. After all, curation is at the heart of what they do: bringing together artists, ideas, and experiences that spark curiosity and connection.

One of the most compelling voices in contemporary jazz, daoud has built a creative practice that extends far beyond music. A composer, performer, and visual storyteller, he challenges conventions and embraces contradiction, creating work that is playful yet profound, intimate yet disruptive.

His music refuses easy categorization. Drawing inspiration from across genres and disciplines, daoud approaches creation as an ongoing process of selection, experimentation, and reinvention. Through sound, visuals and performance, he explores what it means to choose what matters, question established narratives, and create space for new perspectives to emerge.
