Mackenzie Summer Sounds 2025

Nestled on the banks of Lake Ruataniwha, Mackenzie Summer Sounds has got your New Years covered. New Zealand's most idyllic festival will host a plethora of New Zealand's biggest names including NZ Legends Kaylee Bell, The Mockers, Zed and Stellar* supported by great acts Jaydin Shingleton, Sisterhood and Gibson XCVIII. Gates open at 3pm.

VIP ADMISSION

For the ultimate Mackenzie Summer Sounds experience look no further than VIP. VIP ticket holders have their own venue admission gate, a large marquee, their own bar and their own toilets.

CAMPING

Camping is a 2-night max stay (December 30th and December 31st) Ticket buyer must provide and erect their own tent. Motor homes and caravans are welcome and will also need a camping pass. Security and ablution blocks on site. Note there are no shower facilities.

KIDS ZONE

This is a family friendly event with a dedicated kids zone with bouncy castles!

BUS TRANSFERS

There will be buses running from Twizel to the event and return every 15 minutes. This transfer is included in your tickets.

There are pick ups available from Fairlie, Tekapo and Omarama . This is an add on to your ticket ($50 pp) and is available to purchase separately.

Notes:

This is an all-ages event, all minors (U18yrs) must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or caregiver.

-Alcohol and Food will be available from our vendors.

-There is a strict no BYO alcohol policy.

-There is a strict no drugs policy.

- Bags will be searched upon entry by security.

A breach on any of the above may result in entry denial. Southern Star Productions reserve the right to refuse entry to Mackenzie Summer Sounds.
