Sponsored by Grocery Outlet and opening March 13 at the Barn Community Playhouse in Tillamook, “Barbecuing Hamlet” takes the familiar tale of revenge, ghosts, and existential dread and tosses it into the Old West where absolutely nothing goes according to plan.
Expect Shakespearean language colliding with modern mayhem, rapid-fire comedy, and a cast desperately trying (and failing) to keep the play from falling apart. It’s “Hamlet” as you’ve never seen it before: unhinged, unpredictable, and laugh-out-loud ridiculous.
